With only a half-dozen events left on the 2012 schedule, every team wants to finish strong and take that momentum into the next year.  For CAP HENRY and Team CHR, that desire is the primary focus all year long.  The smaller budgeted team has been impressive but is ready to break through any time.  They’re fast and they run smart races by bringing the car home when “we just didn’t have it tonight”.  Putting the car on the hauler intact helps them be that much more competitive next week.

This weekend, a double-header at Port Royal, Pa tonight and Saturday sets the guys up for a return to their home state of Ohio to finish out the season with a double-header at Fremont Speedway September 14th and 15th and the finale at the famed Eldora Speedway October 13th.

A really good weekend could help vault Cap into the Top 3 in All Stars National points as he needs to make up 105 over the remaining races, a tough task but an achievable one.  And with the desire to compete full time in the World of Outlaws next year, this is a great opportunity for sponsors to get involved with a small team with a big heart and lots talent.

“If we can find the proper funding and we can put the right program together, I know these guys are ready to go for it…and we have some really unique ideas to bring into 2013″, says the elder Henry.  Potential partnerships and sponsors are welcome to contact the team at:  kit@henrymotorsports.com

Cap stays in 5th in All Star National Points behind TIM SHAFFER, DALE BLANEY and DAVID GRAVEL and is 24 points behind 4th place PAUL McMAHAN.
