ITC’s KEN HILLS Elevated to Director of Business Development and Sponsor Relations
(Friday, October 19, 2012 – Indianapolis) The Intercontinental Trophy Cup Series made one of its first off-season steps towards a bigger and better 2013 by promoting KEN HILLS to the “Director of Business Development and Sponsor Relations”.
Hills, a longtime sports car fanatic and veteran photographer has not only had his eye looking through the camera lens, he has also been focusing on expanding ITC’s footprint in the motorsports business world. He brings a wealth of racing knowledge as well as a huge background in managing all corporate and administrative functions for the companies he has been involved with in the past.
“I’m extremely excited about this opportunity as I believe in what is happening here having been around since before the first event. Now I get to bring my 30 years of corporate background to grow the business side of this series working with potential and existing sponsors helping them to get the maximum return on their relationship with ITC and all of the business entities related through the teams and participants.”
Ken Hills was one of the original partners in the Porsche Cayman series which has numerous corporate relationships created by principal and founder DOUGIE LIVINGSTON. “Ken has always been a great asset from the first conversation about building this series and his enthusiasm at the track will be equaled by his experience in the boardroom…he brings a more traditional business background to ITC and it’s exactly what we need to insure the growth of our series.”
Even though the on-track part of the calendar has been completed, “Season 3″ for ITC will be previewed in less than two months at the year-ending “Champions Reception” at the “2012 International Motorsports Industry Show” in Indianapolis on December 7th.
Expect numerous changes in 2013 as new sponsor / partners are finalized plus a return to Homestead/Miami Speedway and the addition of five endurance races will become a key part of the various weekend event schedules…
