One Week Until the “2012 ITC Championship Weekend Presented by the Avitus Group”

Intercontinental Trophy Cup Series — 27 September 2012
One Week Until the “2012 ITC Championship Weekend Presented by the Avitus Group”

(Thursday, September 27, 2012 – Indianapolis)  We are down to one week before season two’s finale of the Intercontinental Trophy Cup as the “2012 ITC Championship Weekend Presented by the Avitus Group” gets ready to roll out with new sponsors and extra track time at Road America.

ITC’s final round will crown two new class champions, introduce a new series presenting sponsor (the Avitus Group), launch a new contingency program with the “Fabspeed Dash for Cash” and preview enduro racing to be added to the 2013 schedule.

All of this is in addition to the “Forgeline Fastest Qualifier” check for $500.00 awarded to the quickest in both classes and the various programs offered by series partners Hoosier Tires, Sabelt and OG Racing…AND there is more coming!

Veteran open-wheel driver turned road-racer, “Speedy” DAN CLARKE, has been very appreciative for his opportunity to be a part of the series.  “I’m looking forward to getting to Road America and celebrating the P1 championship with Isringhausen Motorsports as we have had an incredible year…and we’ll have Boomerang Bay Mixers as guests for the weekend plus we are going after the team championship as we introduce GEOFF ISRINGHAUSEN, Jr., making his series debut in P2.”

RaceFanRadio will have updates throughout the weekend and keep an eye on our Twitter feed and Facebook pages as well.

Even though the on-track part of the calendar will be completed, “Season 3″ for ITC will launch two months after the year ending banquet at the International Motorsports Industry Show in December…
