With only seven races to go on the 2012 schedule, every weekend becomes a valuable opportunity to grab points and bite into the lead for the championship.  And for JOEY COULTER, he wants to grab as many points as possible between now and the season finale near his hometown of Homestead, Florida.  “Last year was so cool to win the Rookie-of-the-Year title in front of family and friends…this year, I want the championship!”

The stretch run is in two segments with Iowa (last weekend) followed by Kentucky, Las Vegas and Talladega over four straight weekends.  A few weeks later, the final stint includes runs at Martinsville, Texas, Phoenix and Homestead, all within the last four weeks of 2012.  Joey knows strong qualifying is just as important as finishing up front and this week we talked about staying focused on the prize “one session at a time”…
